IN MY LIFE
After much debate and uncertainty, Kariss and I did embark on an adventure today: a long bus ride to Chicago with her new volleyball summer team to watch the National Volleyball team compete. We’ll spend the night there and then she’ll have a clinic with the team tomorrow and then we’ll head right back tomorrow night! I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to get away, but somehow we made it work ?
On the same accord, my husband and son leave for his church camp this afternoon, so we’re a family on the go this weekend…just not going in the same direction.
While I don’t imagine I’ll get time to explore my hometown, I’m happy to be there nonetheless (although you may want to check in with me tomorrow after we get back ?
