On April 23rd TPAC will be preforming Egg!

I love musicals. Perhaps it is because I still have unfulfilled dreams of being on Broadway, but there is something about live musical theater that gets me excited beyond measure.

Egg at the Nashville TPAC

TPAC invites families with young children to an afternoon of storytelling, illusion, and wonder in the warmhearted Egg at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, in Andrew Johnson Theater.

Here is a little more about the play:

Presented by TPAC Education and produced by Cahoots NI, a professional theatre from Belfast, Ireland, the play features three madcap birds on the adventure of a lifetime as they grapple with growing up and giving in to their natural instincts to take flight. This funny, delightful, and sometimes bittersweet tale resonates as strongly with adults in the audience as it does with children.

Admission is recommended for ages four and up and is $8 for children 10 and under and $12 for adults.

There will be a limited number of “Pay-What-You-Can” tickets, based on an honor system of what audience members feel they can afford to pay and are available at the TPAC Box Office for up to four tickets per family.
