Fall Fashion Footwear

November 6, 2015: Fall Fashion Footwear

Want to know how to join in one of the hottest fall fashion trends at a fraction of the cost?

One of the biggest trends in fall footwear are those cute little socks that peek out over your boots. But if you’ve gone shopping for these fashion accessories, you know they can get quite expensive.

So when I saw a colleague of mine who I know to be thrifty sporting exactly what we’re talking about, I asked where she found them. She told me she actually cut off a pair of tights to make the boot socks herself.

I thought this was brilliant because not only do most of us have tights laying around our drawers that we no longer wear, but tights are much more likely to go on sale and come in a wider variety of styles than the trendy boot socks today.

It just goes to show that there are constantly new uses for old things and fashion always comes back around!
