June 19, 2015: Father’s Day Dining

Have plans to take dad out to eat this weekend for Father’s Day? Follow these simple tips to make sure you honor dad without overpaying on your bill…

In my extensive search for Father’s Day Brunch options, I discovered some interesting tricks in the restaurant trade:
First, some restaurants will offer their same menu on Sunday, but will charge a higher price because they’re calling it a “Father’s Day Brunch”.
Second, be aware of fixed price meals. While sometimes this can be a good deal, if you’re not expecting it, you can incur a much higher bill than you may have anticipated.
Finally, why not celebrate dad on a day other than Sunday? You’ll save money and you won’t have to worry about long waits. It’s a win-win for dad!
