Free Campfire at Disney: Disney Deals Day 5

Regardless of what Disney hotel you’re staying at, or if you stay on Disney property at all, you’ll want to make time in your family’s schedule to visit the free campfire at Disney, aka, Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long.

Disney’s Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long takes place nightly (typically around 8pm) at the campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.

Take a look:

The Campfire costs nothing to attend and you’ll get to experience:
*Live Cowboy Sing-A-Long
*Campfires to roast S’mores over (kits available for purchase on site)
*Disney Cinema under the stars
*Meet & Greet with Chip ‘n’ Dale themselves!

If you want to learn more about what Disney movies are being shown each night, check with the Front Desk at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, or call (407) WDW-PLAY.

The only thing to consider is that the campsite is not super easy to get to. You can either drive to the front of the campsites and take a bus back to the campfire (allow about 20 minutes for transportation) or what we prefer is to take a boat over directly from the Magic Kingdom.

You can also explore the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. According to the Disney website:

Stroll through the stables to see Cinderella’s Ponies and the majestic horses of Main Street, U.S.A.. You can watch the blacksmith make horseshoes and affix them to horses’ hooves, and discover the Dragon Calliope—the horse-drawn musical instrument that Walt Disney purchased for the Mickey Mouse Club Circus Parade at Disneyland Park in the 1950s.

Animal lovers of all ages will delight in the variety of breeds that live at Tri-Circle-D Ranch, including Appaloosas, Arabians, Belgians, Clydesdales, paint horses, Percherons and quarter horses, plus Shetland ponies.

They also have a great playground that sits on the lagoon and makes a great viewing area for the Magic Kingdom fireworks show nightly. We like to enjoy it after having dinner at Trail’s End on the Campsite (another little known treasure among Disney dining…).
