After celebrating the true meaning of Easter at church last night, we wanted to have a proper Easter lunch for our first holiday in Nashville. We had a great time with some old friends and cooked more than we probably should have, but we’re already looking forward to the leftovers. Our lack of decisiveness is purely a result of me and my husband having completely opposite taste, but it provides for a lot of variety! While you may not put this on your meal plan for next week, you may find pieces to throw in here and there and try out for the next time you plan to entertain!
Our menu included:
Country ham (for my husband), turkey (for me), stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, traditional green bean casserole, oven roasted carrots & parsnips, pan fired green beans, deviled eggs,  and hot rolls
Dessert included homeade one crust apple pie, M&M red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, and homeade chocolate mousse with dark chocolate curls
