June 12, 2015: Hire an Intern

Need some business help but not yet ready to hire a full-time employee? I just might have the solution for you today…

Do you remember interning in college? It’s where you traded your labor for college credit or sometimes just the experience in an industry you were interested in. Well guess what – interns are still looking for opportunities today!

Whether you’re self-employed or starting your own mini-empire, hiring an intern is a great way to get extra help without spending a lot of cash. Plus, if you really click with your intern, you can end up with an employee that you’ve trained right from the very beginning. Even if you don’t live near a college, you can place a local ad online. Chances are, you’ll learn as much from them as they’ll learn from you!
