June 2, 2015: Hotels with Pools
I learned something early on as a mom that has influenced how we vacation now – and I’ll share that tip with you coming up…
From the time our kids were very young, I quickly realized that they often got more excited about staying in a hotel on a trip than the actual destination itself. In fact, often our kids prefer to hang out in the hotel rather than the attraction we’re visiting, and a big reason for that is the pool.
It’s taught me that I can save on our overall vacation budget by not packing in so many activities during the day and instead choose our hotel carefully so we stay in a spot that the kids can enjoy. In fact, today we’re heading to Sevierville to enjoy the waterpark at Wilderness at the Smokies and I have a feeling we won’t have to leave the hotel very often.
