How to Save on Grilling Out

September 8, 2014: How to Save on Grilling Out

If you’re planning to grill out today, listen up – there’s still time to save a TON of money!

Labor Day and grilling out seem to go hand in hand, so I have some practical ways to help you save money, maximize flavor and still have fun with friends & family:

First, Buy cheaper cuts of meat or opt for ‘bone-in’ meat and then marinate it. You’ll save on the price per pound and still get great flavor.

Second, skip the store-bought seasoning blends and make your own. You’ll save upwards of 70% and most likely have the basic spices you need in your pantry already.

And finally, asks friends and family to pitch-in; you’ll save money when you share costs AND get to experience more flavor combinations!
