Frequently, my son will appear out of nowhere, run up to me, kiss my leg, look up at me and say, “I just love you, mommy!”
While I’m not surprised anymore by his random acts of affection, his motivation constantly catches me off guard.
The other night we quietly sitting at the table after dinner, and all of a sudden Britton looked at me and said, “I just love you mommy…” and then paused briefly before offering, “I didn’t know what else to say!”
Guess it could have been a lot worse, so I’ll take it!
