My son inherited my husband’s gag reflex.
If I throw up, I’m down for the count. However, my husband throws up more than anyone I know, but then moves on like nothing happened. He’ll see, smell, or think of something gross, and off he goes to the bathroom, only to emerge minutes later to continue on his day as if nothing happened.
I just walked into my son’s room, who also threw up randomly in his bed after (seemingly) coughing too hard. As I picked him up to try to console and cuddle him, he was already ready to move on! What is it with these boys? It makes it so much harder to get someone to empathize with me when I’m sick!
