Summer-ScrapbookIt’s Day 1 of our Summer Scrapbook kids craft and today’s letter is: A
Our character theme is: Attitude

Our verse for today is Philippians 2:5
“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus”
(Watch my video with my original scripture memory song for Philippians 2:5)

Grab a sheet of paper for each child, either write an A for them or let them cut an A from a magazine and glue it on, and then write today’s verse along the bottom of the page. Encourage your kids to think of things that start with the letter “A” that remind them about the summer. Really, you just want it to be a catalyst to watch their imaginations go.
Summer-Scrapbook-AIt was fun watching my two kids’ personalities emerge during this. You may even want to take pictures of your kids doing the scrapbooks and then include them in the finishes product.

A few ideas for binding your scrapbook at the end:
* Punch two holes in the left side of each paper then tie the book together with yarn at the end
* Place each page in a sheet protector then put in a 3 ring binder
* Take to a copy center to get bound

Whatever you decide to do, just let your kids lead and have fun! Come back tomorrow for “B”.
