April 10, 2015: Money Personality

Have you evaluated your money personality lately? If not, today’s your day!

Each of us not only has a unique personality, we typically have our own money personalities as well…not to mention, we have a tendency to marry someone of the opposite money personality.

I want you to consider whether you are a saver, spender, judge or pacifist.

Right now you may be thinking, “but Sami, I see myself in a couple of those categories.” And you know what, you’re probably right: we usually have a primary and secondary money personality.

For example, you may be a saver with a spender with a judge tendency or a saver with a pacifist tendency. Wherever you fall on the spectrum, the important thing is to take time to evaluate each person in your family and make sure everyone understands where they fall on the spectrum.
