The Nutty Professor World Premiere at TPAC in Nashville closes this weekend…but I have a discount code!
If you’re a theater nut like me, then you were thrilled to hear that Jerry Lewis and Marvin Hamlisch collaborated to create the new Nutty Professor and premiere it right here in Nashville! Rarely does a show of this stature and caliber premiere anywhere other than London, New York or LA, so this is historic on a number of levels.
I actually got to meet Marvin Hamlisch (most famous for “A Chorus Line”) in New York City about a decade ago when I was the Director of Cultural Arts for Northwood University and we honored him with our Achievement in the Arts award!
Already, the Jerry Lewis-directed project is getting rave reviews and the word of mouth is strong for this fun new musical comedy, based on Lewis’ 1963 classic film.
