Who You Choose: Devotion Day 30

We are called to obey our leaders, but not when they order us to do something against the law (like murder).

By fearing God, the midwives from Exodus saved a generation of Hebrews. And because of their obedience, not only were the families spared the loss of their little ones, verse 20 went on to say God blessed the midwives and their families for their obedience.

Who are you obeying today? Perhaps the better question is, who are you choosing to listen to? The loudest and most consistent voice in your ears often becomes the voice you obey, whether you know it or not.
