Remember that one piece of advice your mother always yelled at you every time you left the room? She may have been smarter than you think…
It’s not just environmentally conscious to pay attention to your electricity usage, it’s economically conscious. One of the biggest money wasters is electricity that’s being left on when you’re no longer in the room.
Not only does it help to turn off lights when not in use, but also try to make use of natural light whenever possible. That way, the only thing you’ll have to remember is to close the blinds at night!
