Social Media Savings

October 20, 2015: Social Media Savings

Has anyone ever accused you of spending too much time on social media? It just might help you save money…

Make sure to follow your favorite brands on Facebook and Twitter. Not only will they offer special discount codes exclusively for their social media followers, I’ve also gotten a lot of freebies by putting this into practice.

Sometimes it’s something as simple as a free cupcake for a bakery’s followers when they come in and mention a word they tweeted out and other times it was receiving a coupon for a free pair of jeans from a brand that liked the pictures I was sharing of me in their clothes.

I’ve even won a computer by being clever with my ability to write in 140 characters or less.

So the next time someone gives you a hard time for spending time on social media, just tell them you’re helping your budget.
