IN MY LIFE
It looks like I’m going to have to work on my morning routine even more because I just can’t seem to get everything done for myself, my kids and my work. Actually, I take that back: I’m getting done everything I NEED to get done for others and my work, just not for myself and my blog ? I’m working on it…

It doesn’t help that we’ve still been trying to figure out how to get my son mobile with his ankle, especially at school. A recent call from the doctor revealed he may need to be seen by an orthopedic doctor after all.

On a brighter note, we came home to a fun surprise in our mailbox: a review copy of Descendants 2 from Walt Disney Studios. Yes, In Descendants 2 the villain kids are back and the stakes are even higher in the highly anticipated sequel to the Disney Channel Original Movie “Descendants”! The story deepens in the music-driven sequel to the global smash hit “Descendants,” as the teenage sons and daughters of Disney’s most infamous villains try to find their place in idyllic Auradon.

When the pressure to be royally perfect becomes too much for Mal, she returns to her rotten roots on the Isle of the Lost where her archenemy Uma, the daughter of Ursula, has taken her spot as self-proclaimed queen of the run-down town. Uma, still resentful over not being selected by Ben to go to Auradon Prep with the other Villain Kids, stirs her pirate gang including Captain Hook’s son Harry and Gaston’s son Gil, to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon, and unleash all the villains imprisoned on the Isle, once and for all.

Descentdants 2 is overflowing with even more action, more catchy music, unforgettable dance numbers and, of course, new villain kids. But the reason I especially love the DVD is because it features never-before-seen bonus material, including cast secrets, bloopers, a deleted song and a free necklace with five interchangeable icons (which was around my son’s neck before he could even watch the DVD). Of course, BooBoo Stewart retweeted the picture of him in our homemade Jay costume back when Descendants came out, so it shouldn’t surprise me that he wanted to look the part right away.

Descendants 2 is now available on DVD plus, if you visit DisneyMovieRewards.com, you can enter to win a Disney Channel 5-movie collection including “Descendants” and “Descendants 2”!
