IN MY LIFE
It may be a break for the kids, but as most of you know, work continues for the rest of us this week. I am going to take a break to work on my back a little more since that’s still not 100%. I also finally got our Christmas cards ordered last night, so there’s a small chance those might actually go out before Christmas this year 😃

I teased you above that one of our new favorite movies is out on DVD today, and that’s no lie.

I’d never read the book the movie is based on and to be honest, I had reservations about this one; typically, anything with “middle school” in the title usually goes for the lowest common denominator of humor…this movie is the opposite. Sure, there are some of those moments, but it is written so cleverly and acted out brilliantly.

Here is the official description of the plot:
Rafe has an epic imagination…and a slight problem with authority. Both collide when he transfers to a rule-crazy middle school. Drowning in do’s and don’ts, Rafe and his best friend Leo hatch a plan to expose the principal by breaking every rule in the school’s Code of Conduct. As the principal strikes back, Rafe’s world, at home and at school, explodes into hilarious chaos (both real and imagined) in this laugh-filled family comedy based on James Patterson’s best-selling book series.

Plus, I NEVER saw the ending coming! It had me laughing and crying. I cannot recommend this highly enough!
