In today’s Daily Dash video, October 27 2015, Rain showers aren’t the only showers we’re facing today…

The Daily Dash: October 27, 2015 {Speeches, Showers & More Showers}

IN THE NEWS:
* Carson begins to overtake Trump
* World Series begins tonight
* Woman drives into OSU homecoming parade crowd

IN MY LIFE:
* The rain continues in Nashville today, but we also have a wedding shower for friends tonight – and while I’m not necessarily looking forward to interacting with a large group of people, the group that will be there is quite special to me and I’m really looking forward to it.

* My students also start their demonstration speeches today. As much as I love listening to speeches, I’m especially excited because many have made mention about giving speeches about “how to bake a pie” or “how to make cookie dough”. You know what that means…SAMPLES!

* My daughter is also trying out for the basketball team, which frankly shocked me and my husband. We’re quite proud of her for trying something new, especially after the amount of running involved in the first day of practice 🙂
