Therafit Sandal Giveaway: Look Cute, Feel Comfy

On a recent field trip to the zoo with my son’s first grade class, I fell into a quandary.

Selfishly, one of the main reasons I wanted to chaperone was to get some great pictures of him with his class. Of course, I wanted to spend quality time with him too, but the pictures certainly helped my decision 🙂

Knowing what a large part the pictures were playing in my decision to go, it necessitated that I looked cute for said field trip to the zoo. But how does one pull off looking cute, staying cool, and being comfy?

I actually believe I have a good handle on the Maxi sundress fashion phenomenon, so I wasn’t as worried about that as much as I was my footwear. Even if you can find a cute outfit, it’s hard to find a good pair of shoes that will not only complement the cuteness, but keep your feet feeling good all day.

I think I ended up in a pair of flip-flops, but what I was really coveting all day was a pair of the new Therafit sandal flip-flops.

You see, I had learned from previously working with Therafit (on my “Save vs. Splurge TV segment” in August 2012) that the new Therafit sandal line was coming out this summer. It seemed the perfect answer to my dilemma about something cute but at the same time something it was designed to fit my foot well.

While I didn’t get my Therafit sandals in time to help me that day at the zoo, I have since received a pair and am impressed that they went for not just the on-trend summer colors (see image at the top of this post featuring the bright fluorescent Therafit sandals, but have also created a line that will complement any outfit:

Keep in mind, these may not be the cheapest flip-flops on the block (retailing around $69), but if I’ve learned one thing from my father and now my friends who keep telling me they’re getting older (even though I’m not) it’s that it pays to spend money on a good haircut and good shoes!
