It’s day 2 of Sami’s Birthday Giveaway a Day in July! Win Winnie the Pooh movie tickets…

Are you as excited as I am that Winnie the Pooh will be returning to the movie theater this month? And not some modern-story, 3-D animated version of the old classic, but the old classic itself…just with a story twist!

I’ve always loved Pooh bear. Maybe because my mom’s from England…or maybe because he’s just so soft and cuddly! Whatever the reason, I’ve always been a lover and collector of all things Pooh. In fact, when we got married, my husband made me put all my Pooh paraphernalia away until we had kids; some would say that’s why I got pregnant only 3 months after we got married 😉

Here is what you can expect from this latest release:
Inspired by three stories from A.A. Milne’s books in Disney’s classic, hand-drawn art style, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Winnie the Pooh” reunites audiences with the honey-loving, philosophical bear and friends Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo and Eeyore in a wild quest to save Christopher Robin from an imaginary culprit.

So on Friday, July 15, I hope you’ll be helping me welcome back to the big screen Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and all their friends from the Hundred Acre Wood. In fact, I get to give some of you the chance to get a sneak peak before the movie even hits the theaters for the general public!

That’s right, 10 of you will win tickets that will admit 2 into the private screening. Just leave a comment below letting me know why you’d love to be one of the first to see the new Winnie the Pooh movie. Also, if you have more than one child you’d like to attend, please add that in your comment too! For an extra entry, you can ‘Like’ Winnie the Pooh on Facebook too!

If you can’t wait to get your Winnie on, check out these great activities online, including how to make Winnie the Pooh pencil toppers, Masks, Recipes & more!
Winnie-The-Pooh-Hunny-Pot-Cake-Pops-RecipeBecause the preview screening is right around the corner, you only have until Noon on Wednesday, July 6th to enter! Good luck!

I would love to take my 17 year old to see the new Pooh movie. When she was little we had all the Pooh videos. I think we watched them so much she could quote most of them. I also have a 11 year old who loves Piglet!

I love Pooh! I use the characters of Pooh to teach self-regulation to kids…. Don’t be like Tigger or Eeyore when you’re learning! : )

okay I have a hankering for a smackeral of some honey. Knowing Pooh bear as I do I would like to pass along the wonderful timeless tale of friendship and faithfulness thru thick and thin which Pooh Bear and his lifetime friend Christopher Robin enjoy sharing in their adventures for honey. A classic story which I would love to impart to the 8 children i share life with in our Hundred Acre Woods. After all isn’t that what we all really want in life….a friend to walk thru the adventure with and if by chance we stumble upon a smackeral of something sweet then so much the better. it’s a must see movie for sure.

I have always loved Tigger. When I had the boys, who both love Pooh and Friends, I was hoping that they would like one, if not all of the Pooh characters. Jonathan has seen the ads for the movie on tv and gets so excited about it coming out. I would love for both boys to go see this movie and I’m sure that it will included in our Disney DVD collection when it is available.
