IN MY LIFE
* We kicked off the holiday season at Gaylord Opryland Resort this weekend by watching them light the over 2 million lights, going through ICE!, snow tubing, ice skating and more. I also have great discounts on the ICE! attraction here: https://www.samicone.com/?p=16247
The kids and I also saw Marvel’s Doctor Strange this weekend. I really had not idea what to expect, but this movie was incredible, both in its message and imagery. I can’t tell you the last time pulled out my phone to take notes during a movie, but I did during this one…twice! Here’s what I wrote:
*We never lose our demons, only learn to live above then.
*Silence your ego & your power will rise
*Death is what gives life meaning- knowing our days are numbered

There were so many good messages about faith and belief, both in ourselves and the Creator of the universe. If I had to give you any advice though, I’d say see it in 3D. I don’t often recommend movies in 3D, but the animation was stunning and I really wished we had sprung for it (in fact, I would be willing to pay to see it AGAIN in 3D!)
