What do you do when you forget what is true? What do you need to release today?
Remember What is True {Daily Dash: February 4, 2026}
IN MY LIFE:
Between winter weather, lingering health issues, work worries, and relationship quandaries, my body felt like it was revolting on me. Not only was I sobbing in a dream last night, I woke up crying and my eyes stayed teary for another hour. I knew it was my subconscious trying to process something it couldn’t while I was awake.
I called my friend Jen who does Spinal Flow because I knew my body needed a release. She said a couple of things that stuck out:
- Remember what is true
- Hold Jesus’s hands and release anything to Him you no longer need to carry
The only problem was that I couldn’t even imagine looking him in the eye in that moment. Instead, I pictured us shoulder-to-shoulder under a shawl, and in that moment I felt seen, but not in the way I anticipated. I’ve spent a lot of time since then getting more comfortable in the silence, listening for God’s promptings, and trusting my intuition.

PRAYER FOCUS: Release
Lord, I pray that whoever needs to hear this remembers that they are your child and your grace is abundant. Wrap your covering of peace around them and allow them to release anything that is not of you.
