I’m not normally a fan of concerts and live music, but there’s one bad I’ve loved since college and when I heard they were coming to Nashville on our anniversary, I knew what I had to do.
That’s right, I bought tickets for my husband and I to see Blues Traveler tonight for our anniversary! I know, I know…if you know me now, you might be thinking, “Really, Sami? Blues Traveler is your favorite band?” Maybe it’s because of the fond memories of listening to them in college. Maybe it’s because of their quick and witty lyrics. Whatever the reason, I stop in my tracks whenever I hear their music.
Today is our 16th anniversary and, I’ll be honest, we are still working on our marriage each day. That being said, we’re still celebrating what we’ve been through and the commitment we made to each other.
