Ok, just as I think I’ve got this thing down, I get a 60 degree day thrown at me in February! But that’s ok – my logic remains nonetheless.
After my initial freak out at moving into single degree weather with only two sweaters to my name, I quickly figured out how winter wardrobes translate to people in the mid-South: layers under short sleeves! Yes! Things I never thought I’d pair together all of a sudden make sense – all I needed was a stash of long sleeve shirts. Vests, short sleeve blazers and of course endless t-shirts all get transformed with a long sleeve shirt underneath and Voila! A new winter wardrobe is born with no out of pocket expense. Ah, they’re smarter than people give them credit for around here!
