IN MY LIFE:

I’ll keep it brief today since it’s getting late, but I wanted to share a few things I’m grateful for.

First of all, my students did a great job again today with their speeches. Some made me laugh so hard I cried and others made me cry for how vulnerable these kids were willing to be. This is why I continue to teach…

After teaching, I tried an amazing restaurant with a friend for brunch. When you eat good food, it makes me wonder why I ever settle for anything less. Tasting all the creative spices and flavorful dressings made me grateful beyond words and helped me draw parallel lines in other areas of my life where I’ve become accustomed to settling for less. Let’s just say I’m not willing to settle anymore.

Finally, it was absolutely GORGEOUS today: 66, sunny and clear. I was going to come back and work in my office, but I needed to be outside and I’m so glad I took that hour to sit in the sun.

PRAYER FOCUS: Honesty

I pray you’re honest with yourself and your needs today.
