IN MY LIFE:

Yesterday I shared how one year ago I was speaking on a cruise. What I didn’t share is that I was on that same cruise in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean when my phone started blowing up with messages asking if I was OK.

Not long after, I discovered the news about the tornado, but I couldn’t get through to my family. It was one of the worst feelings ever.

Thankfully, they were OK, but Nashville is still recovering from the storms. And as you can imagine, the fact that the storms hit right before the world shut down did not help with recovery and clean up.

Please keep Nashville in your prayers, especially the areas of Germantown, East Nashville, and Mt. Juliet.

PRAYER FOCUS: Compassion

I was interviewed for an upcoming virtual mom conference day speaking about how to raise more compassionate kids, so I look forward to sharing that with you when it becomes available. One of the last things I shared was that we not only need to be more compassionate toward others, we need to learn to be more compassionate with ourselves.
