March 19, 2015: Car Buying Assistance

Need some keys for leveraging a better price when buying a new car?

When it comes to getting a great deal on a car, it’s not just about saving up enough money or waiting for the perfect sale, it’s about making sure you’re getting the best price too.

That’s where your affiliations come in.

I was surprised to discover recently that I could save hundreds and sometimes even thousands of dollars on a vehicle purchase simply by utilizing organizations I belong to, such as warehouse clubs and even USAA.

Even if you’re not a member of such organizations, car dealers will also offer discounts to select groups of individuals, such as students, teachers, or the military. The bottom line is this: always ask.
