You’re used to seeing me tape the Daily Dash Video Series in my car, but you probably didn’t expect me to do my makeup there too!

So today I’m bringing you my 5 Minute Makeup Application Tutorial from the Car… A Daily Dash Bonus Episode.

Typically I’m bringing you news from around the world and in my life from my car dashboard each day, but today I’m showing you my morning makeup routine:

It only takes about 5 minutes, but you can see how easy it is for me to get ready in the morning.

5 Minute Makeup Application Tutorial Products Used:

*I LOVE my Sonia Kashuk Snake Print – Small Train Case I just found at Target! (Buy Now) I’ve been looking for the perfect makeup bag for quite some time now. Even though I’ve received a number of free ones through various promotions, I’ve had a hard time finding one the perfect size for both my brushes and my Lorac Pro Eyeshadow Palette.

*I then used my new H2O Plus CC cream as a foundation before applying Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation. It was make by makeup artists who work with clients on camera, so it’s perfect for all my video work 🙂 (Buy now)

*Next comes Lorac POREfection Baked Perfecting Powder (Buy now) followed by Therapy Systems Pressed Perfect Finish in Sunlight (translucent). I don’t always used the pressed powder, but when I do, I use a Kabuki brush to apply it lightly over the Lorac powder.

*After powder is done, I apply Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Radiant Bronzing Powder in Warm on my cheekbones and then use a fan brush to apply Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Radiance Blush in Romantic Rose to the apples of my cheeks.

* From there, I move on to my eyes. I discovered the Lorac Pro Eye Shadow Palette after two professional makeup artists used it on me. It really has 16 of the best colors you would ever want to use on your eyes in both matte and shimmer. (The Lorac Unzipped Palette is great too). Depending on what I need to accomplish on any given day, I’ll either use a small angled blush to apply the black eye shadow as a liner, or I use Salma Hayek Gel Eyeliner – it’s the easiest smoothing eye pencil I’ve ever used.

* One of my FAVORITE beauty finds of all time is the Benefit Eye Bright Pencil. It’s a light pink eye crayon that’s designed to brighten and lift your eyes, but I love using it right on the inside corner of each eye.

* I still feel like I’m on a quest for the perfect mascara, but I do like Benefit’s Bad Gal Lash in Black. I also have the mini version  which is great for traveling (Buy it now– I just found it for only 74 cents on Amazon!)

I didn’t show you lipstick in the video, but I love the feel and functionality of my Lipstick Queen Crayon Pencil.

If you buy through any of the links listed above, I will make a small affiliate commission, but it simply goes back to helping me make more quality programming like you see above 🙂

So there you have it! My favorite makeup and how I use it.

What are your favorites? Share below in the comments (I especially want to hear about what mascara you use!)
