IN MY LIFE:

I don’t know about you, but I could use a bit of a restart. I remember being fully committed to coming out of this quarantine a healthier individual. But after a plethora of homemade breads and trying out new recipes, it seems I may have lost focus.

Thankfully, I discovered a little-known secret about Noom (read my full Noom review). While I was going strong for the first four weeks, the last few weeks I’ve fallen off the App, so to speak.

So what’s the Noom secret I discovered?
You can rewind your progress!
Let me explain.

As dedicated as I was to check off every activity, article and weigh-in the first month, let’s just say I dabbled in the Noom App starting on Week 5. So when I found out you could rewind the curriculum, I jumped at the chance.

My personal Noom coach confirmed this to be true: she initiated the change and now I no longer have to scroll back to find lessons and tips I missed. PLUS, I didn’t lose any of my saved articles, data, etc. It is important to note that this rewind doesn’t impact your subscription/renewal date: that stays the same.

If you’re looking to lose weight, accountability can be key. If also found help through other online tools, such as a weight loss or body fat calculator. For instance, this online weight loss calculator estimates how much you might need to change your diet and exercise routine to reach your weight loss goals.

Likewise, I use my Apple Watch to track my workouts and calories burned, as well as their activity tracker (I love closing my rings). Even if you don’t have an online fitness tracker, you can use an online workout calculator to estimate your total caloric burn rate.

If you’re like me, you can get lost in the preparation, rather than executing your new fitness plan. However, it’s best to find a happy mix.

PRAYER FOCUS: Self-Discipline
Speaking of daily accountability, I’m going to pray an extra dose of self-discipline over each of you today!
