IN MY LIFE:

Friends, I’m tired. It’s been an emotional weekend for many reasons.

In case you didn’t hear, my Tar Heels beat Duke in the Final Four (& Kansas beat Villanova in the other game). So UNC will face Kansas tonight in the final. The game doesn’t start until 8 PM and I seriously don’t know if I can take any more excitement. I’m trying to remember this is a game between 20 year-old young men and not a life or death situation, but it sure is a game for the record books!

While my bracket got busted pretty early, I did fare well from the Sweet 16 onward, picked 3 of the 4 final teams and predicted UNC & Kansas would meet in the Final. I forgot to fill out an ESPN bracket, but I am almost positive I’m going to win the pool at physical therapy 🙂

PRAYER FOCUS: Honesty

Sometimes the truth hurts. We’re told to speak the truth in love, which is true, but I’m also learning not everything we think needs to be said. I pray we all have the wisdom to know the difference.
