Reuse & Repurpose Ice Trays

September 24, 2014: Reuse & Repurpose: Ice Trays

With so many refrigerators coming with ice dispensers these days, you may be tempted to toss your old ice cube trays, but I suggest you wait until you hear what I have to share with you today.

Ice cube trays aren’t just for storing ice anymore. There are a myriad of ways you can repurpose them within your home.

Here are just a couple of ideas are:
-use them for young children to practice sorting
-use them as a mold to melt crayons or candy in or
– use them as storage for earrings or even nuts and bolts.

And of course, if you want to keep them in the freezer, you don’t have to make just plain ice cubes. They are still great for making small Popsicles or even filling with fruit juice and berries to really jazz up your next holiday punch.
