How can a theme cruise save you money? Stay tuned and I’ll tell you!
This week, we experienced the FamilyLife “love like you mean it marriage cruise” for the second year in a row and we love it for so many reasons.
Allow me to generalize theme cruises and tell you why they can be a great experience AND a vacation bargain:
- First of all, they typically travel on smaller ships during off peak season, which is an automatic savings right there.
- Second of all, they are usually put on by a group or musical act and so not only are you getting up close and personal beyond what you could at a similar event on land, but it’s like getting a concert, seminar or demonstration included in the price of your vacation.
- Finally, because these types of vacations are more specialized, the host group will often offer early bird discounts up to half off…a discount you rarely see a standard cruise offer.
