They say you can tell a lot about a person by looking at their checkbook and their calendar. What do yours say about you?

We’re halfway through the SCORE savings method and today I’m here to share about the O in SCORE…Organize

You can’t use a coupon or a rebate if you don’t know where it is. Make your system works for you: either clip coupons and keep them on you or file away whole Sunday coupon inserts at home so they’re ready to go when you compile your shopping list each week.

It also helps to keep a central calendar so you know when offers expire or when free events are taking place.

The Family Money Minute is made possible by Operation Christmas Child, who reminds us that by saving money, we can make a bigger impact on the lives of needy children around the world.
