IN MY LIFE
Friday the kids had off school and we had to take my husband to the airport, so I’m sorry I missed you, but I hope you all had a great Earth Day and a great weekend.
It was a very wet weekend, raining for three days straight here in Nashville. This meant lots of shopping and movie watching. We FINALLY watched Moana (twice because we rented it from XFINITY – “Shiny” is my new favorite song) as well as seeing the movie “Gifted” in the theaters. With the exception of a couple surprising words, I’m so glad I brought my tweens to this one. WOW.
This morning I’m headed to the library to try a “Yoga & Meditation” class in hopes of really focusing more on my self-care. I’ve already listened to final speeches this morning and have a lot more work to get done, but for one hour, I will be one with the books and try to really ground myself.
