IN MY LIFE
We just got back from East TN and I have to admit, the emotions are bittersweet. While my family had an incredible time making new holiday memories at Dollywood (and the lights and new parade are beautiful), it’s with sadness that we learned a family we know lost three people to the fire.

Michael Reed lost his wife Constance and his two daughters, Chloe and Lily. We are doing all we can to help the family as we speak, but words cannot describe their tremendous loss. If you are willing and able to donate directly to the Reed family during this most uncertain of times, please do so through their church where 100% of the money will go directly to the Reeds when you designate it as such: https://www.parkwaychurchofgod.org/donate

I also got to sit town at a table with friends from Dollywood on Saturday to hear directly about the impact and what the Dollywood family of companies is doing to help support all those who have lost loved ones and property. I can tell you that 100% of the funds donated to the “My People Fund” are going DIRECTLY to those affected by the fires. I also know that Dollywood officials checked in with all their hosts to make sure they were accounted for before re-opening on Friday and the reason they did so was to continue to help the economy of the area. Our family had a wonderful time enjoying a Smoky Mountain Christmas and can tell you that if you’re considering a December getaway to the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area, it will do both you and the area a lot of good.

Anyone who would like to contribute to the My People Fund may visit dollywoodfoundation.org.

Plus, the amazing Project 615 made a shirt where 100% of the proceeds to go to The Gatlinburg Relief Fund, check out there Heart for the Smokies shirt.
