The kids are back in school and I’m back to work…

The Daily Dash: January 26 2016 {School’s Back In!}

* Hundreds of flights still cancelled due to the blizzard
* Clinton & Sanders faced off in Town Hall one week before Iowa caucus
* Obama to end solitary confinement for juvenille inmates
* Happy Australia Day

* The kids are back at school for the first time in a week because of the snow; I’ve enjoyed the time off with them, but now it’s time to get back on schedule…for all of us!

I have a lot of writing to do and I’m still trying to navigate the world of online teaching, so that’s been taking up a lot of my time lately.

And of course, there’s still my book 😃 My interview with 100 Huntley Street aired yesterday (you can watch it at and I have 2 more radio interviews today…all that while still trying to implement the principles of Raising Uncommon Kids in my own home 🙂

Remember, you can visit for links on where to purchase my new book
(And if you purchase the book and love it, it would mean the world to me if you would leave a review on those sites as well.)

Another way you can help is by helping to spread the word (by word of mouth and social media). I have several sample tweets, FB messages and images like the one below for you to share at
