IN MY LIFE
Who knew that I would be bringing you to daily dashes in a row from Gaylord Opryland?! When I was here on Friday for their big A Country Christmas announcement, it came up that I hadn’t yet been here this summer to experience Summerfest.
Before I knew it, I was invited by my friends here to celebrate a birthday staycation yesterday and today!
If you’ve never experienced Gaylord Opryland, you’re missing out. It’s truly a retreat within Music City. We spent all yesterday afternoon outside dancing and playing in the pool during the splash party, then showered and enjoyed a ride on Hatter’s Tea Party Cruise on the Delta Riverboat. We ended the evening with dinner at cascade and it was absolutely delicious!
This morning, we are back at the pool and will probably head over for a little shopping at Opry Mills afterwards (which is literally within walking distance from the hotel). 42 is looking good so far!
