After a few days of rain, the sun is out and I’m praying it penetrates my soul…

The rain ended up washing out most of my son’s first swim meet of the season; in fact, we heard Thunder as we was doing the backstroke and we had to pull all the swimmers out of the pool.

It cleared up in the evening and I really enjoyed the Wrangler 70th anniversary party I was invited to. It was fun to get a sneak peak of how they’re bringing the classic Wrangler style back with a retro, yet updated, 70’s feel (I’ll let you see the outfit I put together soon).

Today, if I’m honest, I’m feeling a little blue and not sure why. I managed to get out for a walk this morning and am praying the sunshine literally penetrates my soul today. You know Wednesdays are busy for me, so there’s not a lot of time to sit and contemplate what’s going on, but there’s always time to pray!
