Never focus your eyes on the obstacle…remember to stay focused on the source ~ Oswald Chambers

* After my episode in the hospital in April, I saw a husband and wife team who are not just natural doctors, but who study the eyes and pulse in a form of Ayurvedic medicine. I didn’t want to settle for an onslaught of pills to try to figure out how to ‘fix’ my health.

I realize medicine is necessary for some things, but I never want it to be my first line of defense. So today I go back for a ‘check-up’ to see how I’m doing and what changes if any need to be made moving forward.

We did have quite an emotional weekend – my daughter broke a trust with me and I found that since I told her I needed to take time to cool down, she came to many of the conclusions I would have said to her on her own because I separated myself long enough to not over-react in her presence. It was a learning experience for us both!
