First of all, I was back on Talk of the Town here in Nashville sharing my budget road trip tips. Most importantly, there are two things you need to have figured out before you ever hit the road. Find out here.

Second of all, the latest movie in the iconic Toy Story franchise releases today: Toy Story 4. I’ll be completely honest when I say I wasn’t looking forward to seeing this one. I have so many incredible memories of Toy Story that I was afraid a fourth movie was going to ruin them.

I was wrong.

Much like Mary Poppins Returns, it had nods to all the things you love about the Toy Story movies, while coming up with a truly unique storyline. It never tried too hard and had uniquely funny moments that didn’t require any previous knowledge of the franchise.

One note of importance: there are some creepy moments. We all know there is typically a villain in every Disney movie, even Disney Pixar. But these roles are filled in a unique way in Toy Story 4. Not only is there a unique twist, if you have a fear of certain dolls, you are not going to enjoy certain scenes of this film.

Will it scare young kids? You’ll have to make that decision as a parent. I’d say probably not, but I always like my readers to go in knowing what to expect without giving away any secrets. You can watch the Toy Story 4 trailer here and get some great Toy Story Land tips from some of my favorite Disney bloggers.

If you have any specific questions or concerns, feel free to leave a comment below and I’ll do my best to answer them.

PRAYER FOCUS: Creativity
In honor of all the creative people at Disney Pixar, I pray that we all look at both obstacles and blessings in a creative way!
