Track Your Mileage

June 4, 2015: Track Your Mileage

Did you know something you can do now to save on your taxes later? I’ll tell you this easy tip today…

One easy way to ensure you maximize your tax return savings is by tracking your auto mileage. You can actually deduct mileage on everything from work trips to volunteering.

While you can’t deduct mileage from your daily work commute, you just might be surprised at what does constitute a mileage deduction. While we may not be able to control the ever-increasing gas prices, tracking your mileage is an easy way to make sure you’re saving on auto expenses in another way.

The Family Money Minute is made possible by Operation Christmas Child, who reminds us that by saving money, we can make a bigger impact on the lives of needy children around the world.
