I don’t think there is one March Madness bracket in America that hasn’t been busted at this point…

Underdogs, Cinderella Stories & Busted Brackets {The Daily Dash: March 21, 2021}

IN THE NEWS:

  • 10 people killed in a mass shooting in Colorado
  • Krispy Kreme will give you a free doughnut a day for the rest of the year if you show them your vaccine card
  • Prince Harry takes job as Silicon Valley executive
  • National Puppy Day

IN THE WORD:

At least once a week, examine yourself before God to see if your life is measuring up to the standard He has for you ~ Oswald Chambers

IN MY LIFE:

What a weekend of basketball! It’s interesting to see the firsts and upsets that were created by small Christian schools like Loyola of Chicago, Abilene Christian and Oral Roberts (who made it all the way to the Sweet 16).

My favorite game of the weekend had to be Loyola vs. Illinois. Even though I have SO many family members who graduated from and worked for U of I, who isn’t rooting for Loyola at this point? With 101 year old Sister Jean sitting on the sideline and working scouting reports into her pre-game prayers, they are a force to be reckoned with. Plus, they played hard from minute one and treated that game like it was a national championship game.

I can’t wait to see what this weekend brings.

PRAYER FOCUS: Faith

Hebrews 11:1 says faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. May your faith extend beyond what you could hope, dream or see today!
