Use Hotel Toiletries

June 1, 2015: Use Hotel Toiletries

It may not surprise you to learn that hotels offer free toiletries, but you may not realize just how much it can help your bottom line, or even those less fortunate around you…

I never gave hotel toiletries much thought until my trip to Ecuador with Operation Christmas Child in 2013. One of their staffers commented how she realized that a set of toiletries was built into your room rate for each night you stay. So she began collecting a new set of toiletries each day she stayed at a hotel to share with the less fortunate.

So instead of leaving that shampoo, soap or even sewing kit on the bathroom counter, make use of it to save on your own supplies, or if you are partial to your own products, then take what they offer to share with those less fortunate.
