IN MY LIFE:

When I can, I love to bring you book and movie reviews on Tuesdays. I finally finished Atomic Habits by James Clear (after checking it out from the library twice, which is no small feat because of the long hold line!).

While a lot of it are things you likely already know but aren’t implementing, there are some other tips he gives that can be a game changer.

Here are just a few things he starts with that is already helping me change my thinking:

“Habits are the compound interest of self improvement
An atomic habit is a smaller part of the larger system.
If you want better results, forget about setting goals, focus on your system instead.”

“There are three levels of change: outcome, process and identity.
Don’t focus on what you want to achieve, but who you want to become….Every action is a vote for the type of person you want to become.”

Listen to Atomic Habits
I listened to Atomic Habits via Audiobook and just discovered it’s free on Audible right now too! Find it on Amazon.

PRAYER FOCUS: Perseverance
We don’t always see change right away, but staying the course is what allows us to improve our lives and the lives of those around us. I pray perseverance over each of you today.
