IN MY LIFE:
Yesterday was obviously MLK Jr. Day, but I was challenged by another social media post (of course) to make sure the message of Dr. King evokes more than just a social media quote from us once a year.
While social media can be a great launching ground for supporting someone or something, we as individuals need to do more than just post a photo or a quote. We need to be kind, choose joy, show love and actually reach out to members in our community. After all, we don’t know how to be of help if we never ask.
PRAYER FOCUS: Courageous
May we make decisions without regard to fear, but stand up for what’s right even in the face of fear or the unknown.
