IN MY LIFE:
It’s no secret sickness has been going through my house ever since I returned from Orlando last week. Like any good girl with a Jewish heritage, my go-to for sick family members and friends is chicken soup.

While matzoh balls don’t always sit well when you have an upset stomach, a big broth of chicken stock does. Not only does it have the healing benefits of bone broth, the warm liquid soothes sore throats. Plus, with all the garlic, onion, vegetables and herb stems I put in, there is a wealth of anti-oxidants in there.

The original recipe for this soup is from Julia Turshen’s Small Victories cookbook, you can click to find my adapted version of homemade chicken stock.

Let me know how you like it!
