I interviewed various performers with Cirque du Soleil Axel before it premiered in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena from February 6-9, 2020.
Not only do you get to see rehearsals in this backstage tour, one of the contortionists does her full, 1-hour makeup routine on me.
While I never got invited to perform in Cirque du Soleil Axel, I did get to live out a lifelong dream of being a bigger part of the Cirque family, even going so far as to practice my French.
