It’s tennis week on TV and in my life…

The Daily Dash: September 6, 2018 {3 Tennis Matches in 1 Week}
IN THE NEWS:
* Starbucks’ Howard Schultz gives final interview
* President Trump erupts over NY Times op-ed
* Mistake noticed on Simpsons
* National Read a Book Day

IN THE WORD:
Faith must be tested because it can only become your intimate possession through conflict ~ Oswald Chambers

IN MY LIFE:
Just like at the US Open in NYC, it’s been a hot week here in Nashville. And also like NYC this week, there has been a LOT of tennis being played. Britton had a GREAT match on Tuesday and although he lost, there were definitely some ESPN worthy highlights.

Unfortunately, the heat must have gotten to him because I got the call yesterday to come pick him up at school (which meant he missed yesterday’s match). Today, he has one more shot to play, so here’s hoping the extra rest helped.

PRAYER FOCUS: Perseverance:
I’m praying perseverance over B and all his teammates to persevere even in the midst of heat and adversity. I pray the same over each of you today!
